The foal inspection and registration tour has begun in the breeding district Europe. Breeders, officials and friends of the Holsteiner horse first met in Denmark and Lower Saxony.
Toftlund
In Toftlund, Denmark, it was the Verband stallions United Way and Cahil who produced the winning foals. The filly winner was a United Way-Cormint daughter bred by Egon Jessen from Abenraa and representing the 18A2 line. A son of Cahil out of a Cascadello I dam was crowned the winner in the colt classification. The proud breeder of the foal from line 8908 is Birgit Jørgensen from Rødekro.
Oyten
The annual foal championships were held at Zuchthof Hollen in Oyten together with the Hanoverian Verband. Cero Blue produced the winning foal of the joint championships for mares and stallions. The filly has a Contendro I dam (Zuchthof Hollen) and represents the 2554 line.
The foal tour in the extended breeding area continues on Wednesday, 16 July, in Güstrow and Bernau. You can find all the dates in the breeding district Europe here:
