For the preparation and organisation of the Holsteiner Elite Riding Horse Auction on December 10, 2026, in Elmshorn, we are looking for dedicated Auction Riders.

Your responsibilities:

• Daily training and riding of our auction horses

• Preparing the horses for customer appointments and presentations

• Presenting the horses to national and international prospective buyers

• Supporting the preparation and organisation of the Elite Riding Horse Auction

• Working closely with our experienced team of riders and grooms

Your profile:

• Successful competition experience and at least German performance class (Leistungsklasse) 3

• Experience in handling and training young horses

• Empathy and a good feel for different horses

• A responsible, reliable and independent way of working

• A team-oriented attitude, commitment and a passion for working with high-quality young horses

Auction Groom (m/f/d)

For the preparation and organisation of the Holsteiner Elite Riding Horse Auction on December 10, 2026, in Elmshorn, we are looking for dedicated Auction Grooms.

Your responsibilities:

• Grooming and daily care of our auction horses
• Preparing the horses for training, client appointments and presentations
• Supporting the daily care and organisation surrounding the auction horses
• Assisting with the preparation and organisation of the Elite Riding Horse Auction
• Working alongside an experienced and dedicated team

Your profile:

• Experience with horses and a genuine passion for working with them
• A responsible and reliable approach to work
• Team spirit and commitment
• Enjoy working hands-on in a dynamic environment
• Minimum age: 16 years

Head Groom & Show Groom (m/f/d)

Full-time | Elmshorn | Starting immediately or by arrangement

The Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH is looking to strengthen its team with a dedicated and experienced Head Groom / Show Groom (m/f/d) on a full-time, permanent basis.

At our stallion stable in Elmshorn, we care for our Holsteiner Verband stallions and accompany them in their daily training, at events and at national and international competitions. For this responsible position, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with sport horses, works independently and reliably, and can keep an overview even in a busy competition environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible care and management of our stallions
• Preparing the stallions for training, competitions and presentations
• Organising and caring for the stallions during competitions
• Accompanying our stallions to national and international competitions
• Preparing the horses for competition
• Plaiting, clipping and other competition-related preparations
• Supporting the daily organisation of the stable
• Close cooperation with our riders and the stallion management team

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in professional horse care and handling sport horses
• Experience in competitive equestrian sport, ideally in the care of show jumping horses
• Confident and responsible handling of stallions
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Strong organisational skills and a high level of responsibility
• Flexibility and willingness to regularly attend competitions, including weekends
• Team spirit and enjoyment of working in a dedicated team
• Driving licence category B; BE is an advantage

You can expect a varied and responsible position at the Holsteiner Verband stallion stable in Elmshorn. You will work with high-quality sport horses and become part of a dedicated team that accompanies our stallions both in their daily stable routine and at national and international competitions.

The position offers you the opportunity to take on responsibility and actively contribute to the sporting development and presentation of our Verband stallions.
