Two new features will be introduced at the foal awards, which begin next week.

First, the canter will now be included in the evaluation of the basic gaits. Second, each foal will receive a brief, individualized comment from the committee. “This will allow us to present strengths and development potential even more transparently and offer our breeders added value,” explains breeding director Stephan Haarhoff. “We look forward to making the foal evaluations even more meaningful and comprehensible as a result.”
