Results of the Shortened Ability Test (Kurz-VA) in Vechta

Twenty-five stallions were entered in the short stallion performance test in Vechta, eight of them Holsteiner.

The Keaton son Kantato (MV. Casall, Manfred Birchler/SUI), line 104A, delivered the second-best result of the round. He received a weighted final jumping score of 8.63. The individual score of 8.8 was awarded three times - for jumping ability, rideability and willingness to perform. Arne van Heel skilfully staged the four-year-old. ‘The stallion showed his very best side here,’ was the judge's comment. The Chopin son Churro (MV. Emerald van het Ruytershof, Manfred von Allwörden) finished the short jumping test with a score of 8.34. The judges particularly emphasised the jumping ability of the stallion presented by Hannes Ahlmann with a score of 8.5.
