Sebastian Rohde has been the Holsteiner Verband stallion keeping Gmbh executive director for round about one year and it is the first time he accompanies “his” studs to the traditional presentation of the Verband stallions held at the Neumünster Holstenhalls on Sunday, 12 February from 10:30am – and he and his team have put together an exciting programme.
In order to give breeders and interested parties a proper overview of the Holsteiner Verband stallions at the start of the breeding season, there is more than just course jumping: Some breeding stallions are shown in hand and dressage stallion Fidano by Fidertanz will demonstrate how he has progressed since his successful start at the National championship over these past months under the saddle of Lukas. However, some father-son appearances should be particularly interesting: Million Dollar by Plot Blue and his offspring Million’s Way same as Uriko by Untouchable and United Way as well as Dinken by Diarado and Dubliner perform together in the Holstenhall arena. Despite head rider Jens Klöppel being not available, the Verband stallions shown under saddle are presented by high-profile riders: Sophie Hinners, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Edouard Hennau, Jayke Junge, Alexandra and Marten Witt as well as Maximilian Gräfe. Carsten Sostmeier and Tjark Nagel, who have been following the training and sport career of some of the round about 25 stallions on parade for years now, are to comment on the presentation. Many of the Verband stallions have distinguished sport horse offspring by now and the breeders of the most successful show jumping offspring according to the FN rankings will be awarded graduated monetary prizes up to 1000 euros by the stallion keeping GmbH on the occasion of this event.
Sebastian Rohde has been looking forward to the stallions’ Sunday at the Holstenhall for months. “Presenting the stallions in this great atmosphere in a hall sold to capacity and supporting the breeders in their decision making process is of utmost concern to me.” The high numbers of tickets already sold in advance indicate the importance of this event also to the Holsteiner fans. The Holstenhall box office still has tickets available from 12,-- euros. Anybody prevented from attending the stallion presentation in person may follow the event as it is livestreamed on ClipMyHorse.tv.
