On the occasion of a special hearing in December, the Clarimo-Contendro I son Camino Royal (Rudolf Schmitt, Wöhrden), line 4847, received a positive approval. The gray is owned by the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltung GmbH.
The stallion, born in 2018, is the half-brother of the association stallion Keaton by Kannan and comes from the same kennel. Like his older half-brother Keaton, who was well placed in the finals of the Bundeschampionate for five-year-old show jumpers in 2021, Camino Royal will be trained by Massimo Bonomi from now on. "Camino is very nice to ride and has both a good trot and an outstanding canter," says Bonomi. The stallion has also already completed the first jumps under the rider: “He gives a great feeling on the jump - a wonderful stallion. I am delighted to be able to present him in 2022."
