Isabell Werth: “Clarksville has loads of potential and bright prospects“

Clarksville by Cascadello I has now been trained and produced at the stable Isabell Werth since last November.

According to the most successful dressage rider in the world “Clarksville definitely boasts exciting and fascinating movement. In his further training he must now learn to handle this and his body,” Isabell Werth continues. She describes the seven-year-old as a big horse, with big movement which needs to be formed in a shape. “We are working to further stabilize his constitution which may take a little bit longer compared to other horses, considering his size. All in all he has loads of potential and bright prospects.”
These past months, Niklaas Feilzer – the 36-year-old rider has been employed by Isabell Werth for eight years now – has taken over the ride of Clarksville. “With the big championships in Tokyo and Hagen behind me, I intend to get on the stallion myself“, Isabell Werth admits. Asked about the first start in competition, she answers matter-of-factly: “This is not our current priority. Our number one priority is sound training, the rest will just happen when the time is right“.
