"United Pleasure hasn't been under saddle for long, but is already very balanced and always gives me a pleasant riding feeling," says Minou Eggers about the three-year-old, who completes the presentation round of the 2021 Verband stallions.

About United Pleasure
Typey and athletic in equal measure, the name says it all with this grey stallion. Browsing his pedigree is a pleasure! A unique combination of Holsteiner modernity through his sire United Way with the blood of legendary For Pleasure. United Pleasure himself is a still youthful stallion with a good rectangular frame, correct foundation and great athleticism.United Pleasure has been awarded the sought-after premium title at the Holsteiner stallion grading in December 2023 and was described by breeding director Stephan Haarhoff as follows: “A stallion with very modern make and shape, frame, a good top-line and correct foundation. At the jump he demonstrates awesome reflexes – a really worthy premium stallion.”

Sire
United Way is a next generation stallion at the Elmshorn stallion stable and has been building a reputation as a top sire for quite a few years now. His offspring impress with excellent rectangular frame, they are athletic, ambitious, and typey, with outstanding jumping ability and canter and this absolutely reliable sport horse dam line.

Damline
His dam, Justine, has been awarded a district premium and has as yet produced three foals.  United Pleasure’s second dam Cantate I’s offspring by Million Dollar, Miro en Gris, caused quite a splash in the 2023 showing season. With a number of clear rounds up to 1.30m level under the saddle of Dominik Juffinger (AUT), he contributed to Million Dollar’s topping the world wide Hippomundo six-year-old jumping horse sire ranking. The produce of the third dam, Kantate II, includes Cosido (Ellen Kölz/GER), a licensed Holsteiner stallion with results up to 1.45m level, as well as Carosso, successfully shown in jumping classes up to 1.55m level by Dirk Ahlmann (GER). The Holsteiner mare family 2067 has been reliable in producing sport performance for generation now. Sport horses like for example Coolio (Marcus Ehning/GER), Cazaro (Carsten-Otto Nagel/GER), Cattani (Geir Gulliksen/NOR) and Leonardo (Franke Sloothaak/GER) make this mare family one of the most successful in the Holsteiner studbook. The licensed stallions Conrad de Hus, Landstreicher, Canturano I and II, Connect and Cosido have also come from mare family 2067. The stallion is co-owned by the stallion keeping GmbH and Brazilian Jose Ribeiro de Mendonca.

Considerations for breeding by Sebastian Rohde

“His bloodline makes this young stallion a very interesting option for mares with a lot of Caretino blood. United Pleasure is expected to pass on his height and frame with great reliability. In view of his reliable dam line, it can be assumed that he will pass on his jumping talent.”
