In March 2013, the Casall-Coriano daughter Callas (Jürgen Böge, Bunshoh), line 7492, was auctioned off at the spring auction. With 70,000 euros, the dark bay advanced to the top price and is currently highly successful internationally with Mclain Ward (USA) in classes up to 1.60 meters. Most recently in second place at the World Cup station in Fort Worth (USA), which is endowed with 250,000 US dollars.
Callas was discovered in Elmshorn by Theo Molenaers and Jos Lansink, who bought it together. She collected her first tournament successes with Marcel Willems (NED) in the youngster tour, and was then highly placed with Hikari Yoshizawa (JPN) at national and international level in difficult courses. Since 2022, World Cup winner Mclain Ward has been in the saddle of the mare, which made its first public appearance at the Elmshorn auction. Today, Beechwood Stables is listed as the owner of Lisa and Annabel Revers, who also own Ward's Olympic horse, Contagious. "A modern, fast horse with excellent reflexes," was what they said about Callas at the World Cup in Fort Worth.
A success story that began in Elmshorn. Registrations are still being accepted for this year's Holstein Spring Auction on March 25, 2023. The dates for the pre-selection take place in January.
