From stable-side chatter to sports: Stallion Parade at the Holsteiner Verband

On March 22, starting at 12:00 p.m., the Holsteiner Verband invites you to a joint presentation of privately owned stallions and sires from the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH at the association’s facilities in Elmshorn. Visitors can look forward to a varied afternoon centered on the current crop of stallions—with free admission.

The event kicks off with a “stable yard chat.” In a relaxed atmosphere, breeders, riders, and interested visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the licensed stallions up close, talk with stallion owners and officials, and get a first impression.

Starting at 2:00 p.m., the presentation under saddle will follow. Around 25 stallions from the Schockemöhle, Dirk Ahlmann, Rödl, Maas J. Hell, Völz, and Fromberger stations, as well as from Hengsthaltungs GmbH in Elmshorn, will be showcased in athletic performances.

Spectators can look forward to seeing, among others, Diaron, a son of Diarado and Come On, from the Schockemöhle stud farm. Alexa Stais will present the successful gray horse in Elmshorn. The Fromberger stud farm is also sending an experienced competitor into the competition: the 2008-born Indoletto by Indoctro-Caletto I, who has already achieved success up to 1.60 meters.
There will also be a reunion with the five-year-old Chin Grey by Chinchero-Colestus: Thea Jelcic will present the former top-priced horse at the Holsteiner stallion market to breeders on behalf of the Völz Station. Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH will also present some of its younger sires, including United Pleasure by United Way-For Pleasure.

Host Henner Hoeschen will guide the audience through the program, providing background information on pedigrees, sporting achievements, and breeding prospects throughout the afternoon. The event thus offers valuable insights and inspiration for the upcoming breeding season.

Those unable to attend the presentation in person can also watch it on ClipMyHorse.tv. A catalog of the registered stallions will follow.
