On Thursday, alongside show jumping competitions, the first results were announced in the Warendorf cross-country event. And here, the Holstein eventing horses once again shone. Leading the way was the former Holsteiner auction horse ChrisTonic by Crack-Dinken (Manfred Johannsen), ridden by Julia Krajewski. With a final score of 9.2, the five-year-old won the qualifier, a Class A** cross-country test.
In addition, the following Holsteiners placed in the top 10:
1st Group:
· Chesalico by Chezzaro-Colman (Anneliese Siebert) and Malin Hansen-Hotopp in seventh place (8.1)
2nd division:
· Carbolin by Clarimo-Quinar (Klaus Thiedemann) and Julia Krajweski in second place (8.5)
· Udo J by Uriko out of Casalito (Heiko Jensen) and Lotte Palmgren in second place (8.5)
· Olina DKG by Dubliner-Chepetto (Dr Klaus Gumpert) and Pietro Grandis in fourth place (8.3)
· Cleo by Cascadello I–Ibisco xx (Kirsten Roll) and Paolo Mario De Simone in fourth place (8.3)
· Odette by Cardentos-Adagio de Talma (Liv Elin Gunzenhäuser) and Liv Elin Gunzenhäuser in seventh place (8.0)
· Züri by Zuccero out of Dinken (Malte Kuhnert) and Dorothee Schmid in seventh place (8.0)
Six-year-old eventing horses:
· Ucello by United Way out of Calandro (Gabriele Bornholdt) and Zoe Deusing in fourth place (8.5)
· Fritzenshof’s Nessaja by Dinken-Chin Champ (Kyra-Lina Fritze) and Janet Maas in eighth place (8.0)
Also on the programme today was the second qualifying round for seven-year-old show jumpers. The following horses finished in the top 10:
· Mini Million by Million Dollar-Baloubet du Rouet (Jörg Kröger) and Marvin Jüngel in second place
· Mr. Million by Million Dollar out of Cash and Carry (Jörg Carstensen) and Tjade Carstensen in fifth place
For the eight-year-olds and older former Bundeschampionat participants, today’s S* show jumping class was all about qualifying for the final. Here, a Holsteiner took the lead. Namely, Zirocassina T by Zirocco Blue–Cassni II (Marc Tummes) and Hendrik Dowe. Lucas Wenz and Charaktervoll HV by Comme il faut–Contendro I (Manfred von Allwörden) also finished in seventh place.
