Your foal hasn’t been registered yet, but you can’t make it to any of the remaining appointments? No problem!
If your mare’s mating has already been recorded in the system, you can register your foal online in the members’ area of our website.
Here’s how it works:
1. Register your foal online – report the birth in the members’ area. Receive your documents – a premium card with a graphic template, a transponder and DNA documentation will be sent to you.
2. Verify pedigree – Send a tuft of hair with roots and the DNA application form to the laboratory.
3. Have the transponder fitted – arrange an appointment with your vet. The certification card, including the markings, will also be completed at this time.
4. Submit the breeding certificate – Send the completed certificate, including photos, by email to hoffmann@holsteiner-verband.de.
5. Receive the equine passport & certificate of ownership – As soon as all documents have been received by the Elmshorn Breeding Office, they will be printed and posted.
