At the CSI3* in Dinard, France, Bull Run’s Jireh by Uriko-Colman (Timm Peters, Bargenstedt), line 890, once again impressively demonstrated his outstanding form this season. Ridden by Kristen Vanderveen (USA), the Holsteiner won the 1.50-metre Grand Prix.
At the same time, a CSI2* event took place in Donaueschingen, southern Germany. There, Dante by Darco de Revel-Casco (Sven Völz, Bienenbüttel), line 730B, finished third in the Grand Prix over 1.45 metres. In the saddle was Armin Schäfer Jr. (GER). In the Donaueschingen Championship (1.45 metres), several Holsteiners managed to finish ‘in the money’. Grand Zara by Uriko-Casall (Udo Wagner, Angermüde), line 8783, secured second place with Michael Herhalt (GER), whilst Immergold by Stakkato Gold-Caretino (Friedrich Meyer, Nottfeld), line 4847, and Tom Schewe (GER) finished sixth ahead of Zuccero HV by Zirocco Blue-Caretino (Hanno Köhncke, Badendorf), line 4539, and Maximilian Weishaupt (GER).
A CSI2* competition was also held in Biskupiec (POL). Here, too, a Holsteiner took the Grand Prix (1.45 metres). Kaskada by Action-Breaker-Cassini I (Franz Becker, Metelen), line 8789, and Grzegorz Nowak (POL) were unbeatable in this competition.
