The international competition in Herning was a good place for horses with Holsteiner papers this weekend, with numerous successes:
The former Bundeschampion Lyjanair by Lyjanero-Coriano (Wendy Davis Gerrish/USA), mare family 474A, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) finished 1.45 meters in Herning as winners. Another Holsteiner followed in second place: Stenvangs Daiquiri by Helenenhof's Catoo-Clarimo (Theresa Dueholm Petersen/DEN), mare line 5819, was ridden by Christian Jansen (DEN).
Casemiro CC by Cachas-Contender (Jochen Ramke, Hamburg), Stamm 2978, and Douglas Lindelöw (SWE) won a 1.45 meter class. Third place went to the former Vice state champion Greece by Mylord Carthago-Quinar (Margit Petersen, Sollwittfeld), mare family 3401, and Teike Carstensen. Clooney by Clarimo-Carpaccio (Peter Petersen, Ahrenshöft), mare family 8456, and Peter Jakob Thomsen also took fifth place.
Pius Schwizer (CHE) spent his tournament weekend in Samorin (SVK) and ended it with a victory over 1.45 meters with Casallino by Casall-Loran (Harm Thormählen, Kollmar), line 2151, left very satisfied. Cordico by Cormint-Acodetto I (Susanne Labuj, Kollmar), mare family 317A, and Alexis Goulet (FRA) became third. Jennifer Jaritz (AUT) and Nektini by Nekton-Cassini I (Udo Oppermann/SUI), line 18A2, came sixth.
A victory over 1.45 meters was recorded in Thermal (USA) by Odysseus v. Osilvis-Riverman (Patricia Vasey/USA) and Kyle King.
In Vejer de la Frontera (ESP), both the 1.45 meter and the 1.60 meter show jumping tests went to Holsteiners: in the first, Zaccorado Blue by Zirocco Blue-Acorado I (Tanja Schramm, Ilmenau), mare family 1298, and David Will (GER) won. And in the 1.60 meter course, Fifty Shades of Gray by Cellestial-Carolus I (Denise Spörri-Müller/SUI), line 2115, and Cieran Nallon (IRL) started the lap of honor.
