Holsteiner Results: Successes in Neumünster and beyond

The victory of the Zirocco Blue-Caretino son Zuccero (Hanno Köhncke, Badendof), mare family 4539, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) in the Neumünster Grand Prix was particularly impressive this weekend. And other horses with Holsteiner papers also made a name for themselves in Neumünster and at other tournaments.

Already in the second qualification over 1.55 meters two Holsteiners were among the top five: On the one hand GK Curacao by Clarimo-Lerano (Manfred Kummetz, Lübeck), line 4501, and Carsten-Otto Nagel (GER) in third place. And on the other hand Ethene by Corrado I-Cayado (Ferdinand Rutjes, Laag/NED), line 776, with Lars Bak Andersen (DEN) in fourth place.

Lars Bak Andersen secured top placings with another Holsteiner horse in Neumünster: with Doolys by Cannavaros-Lantaan (Heiko Büttner, Schafstedt), dam line 2599, he ranked second in the big tour over 1.50 meters. Queen Frieda by Kannan-Quidam de Revel (Joachim Tietz, Diekhusen-Fahrstedt), line 6874, and Paweena Hoppe (GER) jumped to fourth place. Directly behind them in fifth place came Cujo by Calido I-Quantum (Sören von Rönne, Neuendeich), line 569, and Rene Dittmer (GER).

Because son Robin Naeve is currently working and training in Wellington (USA), father Jörg Naeve was allowed to borrow his mare Casalia R by Casall-Loran (ZG Redderberg, Ahrensbök), Stamm 1907, and placed directly on the bronze position in a 1.45 meter course in Neumünster.

In the final of the Youngster Tour over 1.40 meters, Coqueto by Cornet Obelensky-Casquetto, tribe 2067, and Hannes Ahlmann took the silver position. The stallion was bred by Witt Pferdezucht GbR in Wellinghusen.

In San Giovanni (ITA) White Gate by Casalito-Contago (Max Hauri, Seon/SUI), Stamm 185, and Anthony Burquard (SUI) won a 1.50 meter test. In addition, Kleons Renegade by Quintero-Stakkato (Katrin Kleon, Längenfeld/AUT), dam line 8768, and Christoph Obernauer (AUT) secured sixth place.

Theo by Christian-Calando IV (Gerhard Krätzer, Loit), Stamm 8865, and Conor Swail (IRL) were successful in the USA: They won the Grand Prix over 1.45 meters in Thermal. Stern dei Foletti by Toulon-Berlin (Salvatore Merendino, ITA), line 7669, and Karrie Rufer (USA) became fifth.
