At the foal championship of the breeding district Nordfriesland in Behrendorf, seven participants were selected for the State Foal Championships on 24 August in Elmshorn:
Among the fillies, a daughter of United Way out of a Cancara dam (Gerd Eggers, Stadum), Stamm 5064, was the winner.
In addition, the second-placed filly by Karlo de Kalvarie-Diarado (Claus-Heinrich Petersen, Ahrenviöl), line 6786, and the third-placed filly by Duplex-Casall (Wenke Andresen, Achtrup), line 1866, also qualified.
A son of Orleans VDL-Cartani bred by ZG Martens (Oldsum), Stamm 8790, was crowned the winner in the colt classification.
Three other colts also won the ticket for the State Championships: the second-placed foal by Mylord Carthago-Caretino (Ivonne Carstensen, Sollwitt), line 3401, the third-placed dressage foal by Vivino-Escamillo (Janin Annett Johannsen, Leck) and fourth place for a son of Diarardo out of a Colman dam (Manfred Nissen, Breklum), line 6786.
