The foal inspection and registration dates in Schleswig-Holstein have come to an end in the breeding district Dithmarschen. The winning foals are by Cahil and United Way.
Among the colts, a son of Cahil out of a Clarcon dam emerged as the winner. Bernd Börger from St. Michaelisdonn bred the stallion from Stamm 306. His full brother had won the R+V Holsteiner Foal Championships in 2022 - at that time still in Bad Segeberg. The family of his state premium dam produced the licensed stallion Marido by Mytens xx, for example.
United Way produced the winning filly: Dr Antonio Conde from Wöhrden bred the mare out of a Casall dam (line 2472). This dam has already produced licensed stallions such as Ultimato by United Way - a full brother of the winning foal - and Lyotard by Livello, who competes in advanced level courses with Philipp Battermann-Voß. This is the direct dam line of the legendary Contender.
Numbers 101, 216 and 93 of the fillies and 172, 50, 72 and A171 of the colts have qualified for the R+V Holsteiner State Foal Championships on 25 August in Elmshorn.
