The commission continued its tour at the weekend and inspected foals born in 2025 in the breeding district Segeberg. Four foals have qualified for the State Foal Championships in Elmshorn on 24 August:
Thomas Horns from Bredenbekshorst is responsible for the breeding of the winning colt: The commission placed the son of Von Und Zu out of an Ampere dam from Stamm 4847 at the head of the field. In addition, another foal by Ermitage Kalone-Cardino (Caroline Kröger, Wankendorf II), Stamm 4965, qualified in the stallion classification.
The winning filly was sired by the Verband stallion Keaton I. It has a Catoki dam, was bred by Lisa-Minou Eggers from Bimöhlen and represents Stamm 7126. In addition, the second-placed filly by Escaneno-Aljano (ZG Ellerbrock, Kayhude), Stamm 7126, qualified for the State Championships.
