From 27 to 30 October, the pre-selection for young stallions born in 2023 will take place at the association's facilities in Elmshorn. The detailed schedule is now available:
How does the pre-selection work?
After being measured, the stallions will be presented running free and free jumping in the hall, then on solid ground. In addition, all stallions will also be presented in groups in walk rings, led by hand.
On Friday, 31 October, the list of stallions approved for licensing will be published at www.holsteiner-verband.de.
Spectators are welcome to attend the pre-selection in the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle in Elmshorn; admission is free.
Please note that helmets are compulsory for presenters and whip handlers during the pre-selection of young stallions!
