On Tuesday afternoon, the starting bell rang for the first time at this year’s Al Shira’aa Bundeschampionat. Forty-nine seven-year-old show jumpers competed against one another in their first qualifying round over 1.40 metres. In the end, last year’s National Champion emerged victorious: Mini Million by Million Dollar-Baloubet du Rouet (Jörg Kröger) was the first to cross the finish line with Marvin Jüngel in the saddle.
Alexander Schill and Clarimero by Clarimo–Catoki (Bettina Friemel) also secured another top-ten finish for Holstein, coming eighth.

The second qualifying round for the seven-year-olds is scheduled for Thursday lunchtime.
