Holsteiner broodmares must be registered in the Verband's studbook. From this year onwards, this will take place at four central locations in Schleswig-Holstein, in the extended breeding area as usual at the known registration locations together with foal registration. Mares can be registered (online in the member area or using the form) until 4 April 2025.
At the mare registration, the mares are presented in hand and in free walk and receive marks for type, topline, front foot, hind foot, walk, trot and canter.
