With the 2025 breeding season just around the corner, the time has come for the breeders to make their well-considered mating decisions. Next Sunday, on 26 January at 2:30pm, is the time to get an impression of the Holsteiner Verband stallions. Tickets are still available for this entertaining presentation promising some very special performances.
First are the three-year-old newcomers, among them the Holsteiner champion stallion, Conchezz by Colestus, in the free jumping lane, followed by the four-year-old and elder stallions jumping a short course. Visitors may look forward to accompanying one of the first public show jumping performances of the now four-year-old up-and-coming stallions Cascolero by Casall, Crinch by Clarimo, Kantato by Ketaon, Karlo de Kalvarie by Kassander van’t Roosakker, or United Pleasure by United Way with Arne van Heel, Lucas Wenz and Mathies Rüder. Apparent for everyone is the fantastic development of the stallions ridden by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, now eight- and nine-year-old Charaktervoll HV by Comme il faut and Keaton HV by Kannan. Commanding attention with placings at advanced level, they will travel to Elmshorn with their rider, same as Olympic stallion, Zuccero HV by Zirocco Blue. The rise United Way by Uriko and Lucas Wenz have seen over the past showing season is best described as “meteoric“: multiple fantastic placings at S*, through S** up to S*** and finally international placings in classes counting for the Longines ranking within just several months were definitely a raving success. It goes without saying that the established star studs will be presented in-hand, as well, for example Casall by Caretino, Clarimo by Clearway and Diarado by Diamant de Semilly. Also Candy de Nantuel, highly acclaimed and feted in France and now available by fresh semen through the stallion keeping GmbH, will be on parade in the Elmshorn Fritz-Thiedemann-indoor arena.
The event is presented by Wolfgang Kohne, while the professional riders champion, Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking, will provide expert commentary. The 2025 Holsteiner stallion presentation at Elmshorn is again set out as an entertaining, varied and, above all, informative gathering. Afterwards, everybody interested is invited to have a close look at the stallions in the stable.
