"It seems that with Sophie Hinners and the Holstein Verband stallion Million Dollar, two have sought and found each other," it says on the St. Georg website. "Only a few months ago, Hinners had taken over the stallion from Frank Schuttert. Since then, they have been clear in the course eleven times in nine competitions and placed in the top ten five times. Today was their first competition over 1.50 metres and here they also remained double clear. That meant second place and thus top ten placement number six," the announcement continues.
We are talking about the Grand Prix of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova. The course, which was set up over dimensions of 1.50 metres, was demanding - only eight of the 50 competing pairs were clear. Among them was the ten-year-old Plot Blue son and the reigning German Ladies' Champion. In the past weeks, the pair had already impressed with sovereign rounds in Oplalbbeek and Kronenberg. Now they immediately achieved a prominent placing in their first joint 1.50 metre jumping competition.
