Yesterday, Keaton and Charaktervoll competed for the first time under Lars Bak Andersen with great success!
Keaton was able to win the 1.20m-class for young horses at the Ladelund Show Jumping Days with a score of 8.8 and Charaktervoll placed third with a score of 8.4. In the qualification for the Bundeschampionat (1.30m), Charaktervoll received a score of 8.3 and placed third again. Keaton also won the qualification for the Bundeschampionat for six-year-old show jumpers with a score of 8.8.
"I had a lot of fun training the young stallions at the Holsteiner Verband and when Sebastian asked me if I could help out the Holsteiner Verband, I didn't hesitate for long. I already knew Keaton and Charaktervoll from videos and also from the show and one week ago I took over the training of the two stallions," Lars Bak Andersen describes the start of the cooperation and says further about the stallions themselves: "Charaktervoll is a very sporty stallion who is top careful and rideable. Keaton gives me an outstanding feeling already in training and also at the show yesterday in Ladelund - For me a horse with a lot of ability that has a great future ahead of him."
Show planning for the stallions will resume in mid-August, as Lars Bak Anderesen will now first concentrate on the World Equestrian Games in Herning. We keep our fingers crossed and wish him every success.
