For all Holsteiner fans and breeding enthusiasts in the European breeding district, there is a date in March that you should definitely mark in your calendar: On Saturday, 14 March 2026, around twelve Holsteiner Verband stallions will be presented live to the public at the Warendorf Riding Club from 6 p.m. onwards.
Managing Director Felix Flinzer had decided to increase the presence of Holsteiner Verband stallions at international tournaments and also to show them more frequently at stallion shows outside the core breeding area. Following shows in France and Sweden, an intra-German show is now scheduled to take place in the horse stronghold of Warendorf: at 3 p.m., the Warendorf Riding Club will host the annual meeting of the European licensing district, after which the stallions can of course be visited at their stalls and questions can be asked of the team. From 6 p.m., the sires will take centre stage in the show ring. They will be commented on jointly by Felix Flinzer, presenter Henner Hoeschen and trainer Marcus Döring. A visit to Warendorf is not only worthwhile because of the high-quality stallions and interesting discussion partners, but also because of the free beer on offer and, last but not least, because it is a live stallion show without a stream.
Admission is free and anyone interested is warmly invited to attend.
