Holstein Opens the Breeding Season: Verband Stallion Presentation on 28 January

Everything is ready in the Elmshorn Fritz-Thiedemann-indoor arena, with the Holsteiner Verband stallions all set to wow the audience once again on Sunday 28 January 2024. Starting at 1.00pm, the three-year-old newcomers to the stallion stable are shown in the free jumping lane, the younger and the already experienced stallions will perform a short course while the older studs are presented in-hand.

A special highlight awaiting the spectators are the presentations of Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, as he is to bring along none other than his European champion, Zuccero HV by Zirocco Blue, but also Keaton HV by Kannan and Charaktervoll HV by Comme il faut – the latter having collected international placings in the youngster tour at the Leipzig World Cup show last weekend – will attend with the Swedish rider. Executive director Sebastian Rohde, trainer Hilmar Meyer and presenter Wolfgang Kohne will be commenting on the stallions in the Fritz-Thiedemann-indoor arena. “Even though many tickets have already been booked”, Rohde is happy, “we still have standing room tickets offering a very good view for last minute visitors available.” And the prospect of an Elmshorn stallion Sunday is always worth the while as the Elmshorn rider team around  Lucas Wenz and Jayke Junge is to present Chezarro by Casall, Corfu de la Vie by Cumano, Daikon by Dominator, Deichkind by Don as well as Million’s Way by Million Dollar and United Way by Uriko.

Afterwards there is opportunity for the popular tours of the stallion stable to see stars such as Casall or Million Dollar close up, become better acquainted with the younger stallions and discuss breeding decisions with the team. Moreover, you may also win something, as the Holsteiner Verband stallion keeping GmbH is giving away free stallion service vouchers in a raffle. For those staying at home, ClipMyHorse.tv is broadcasting a live stream. Tickets for the Verband stallion presentation are available online through eventim, all known ticket agencies, and on-site for just € 5.
