As the breeding season draws to a close, we would like to remind all breeders to submit the veterinary certificates confirming that their mares are not in foal to Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH by the deadline.
The deadline is 15 October 2026.
If Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH has not received a relevant veterinary certificate by this date, it will be assumed that mating was successful and that the mare is therefore in foal. In this case, the pregnancy fee for the most recently used stallion will become due after 15 October 2026 and will be invoiced accordingly.
Please also note the following deadlines:

Receipt after 1 November 2026: An additional processing fee of 50 euros plus VAT will be charged.

Received after 31 December 2026: The full pregnancy fee will be charged.
We therefore ask that you send the certificates to the office in Elmshorn in good time.
