Next Saturday, on 20. February starting at 2 o’clock, the studs stood by the Holsteiner Verband stallion keeping GmbH are presented to breeders and friends of the Holsteiner horse live via ClipMyHorse.tv. From free jumping three-year-olds to youngsters jumping a short course and proven veteran performers shown in hand - 28 stallions and other displays are scheduled for the interesting presentation.
“Even though we can’t offer our breeders the usual real life experience this year, the presentation will be organised in ways allowing as much insight as possible into the stallions’ own sport performance as well as their offspring’s in spite of the pandemic situation“, according to executive director Norbert Boley. The three-year-old stallions Daikon by Dominator Z, Dilaro by Dinken and the champion of the 2020 stallion licensing, Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles as well as a new Elmshorn recruit licensed in January, the Thoroughbred stallion Innenminister by Masterstroke, are shown free jumping. The representatives born in 2017 are to jump an age-appropriate course: Cahil by Cornet Obolensky, Charaktervoll by Comme il faut, Dubliner by Dinken as well as Cardentos by Cardento and Chinchero by Chopin VA. Chinchero, the reserve champion of the 2019 stallion grading, is being produced by team world champion Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann who is also to ride him in the Fritz-Tiedemann-indoor arena. While Chezarro commanded attention just a few weeks ago by topping the result list of the Munster-Handorf sport test, the Casall son intents to put up a convincing performance at Elmshorn next Saturday. His stable mates Corfu de la Vie by Cumano and Keaton by Kannan shone in the sport test and also join the presentation. Olympic rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson wouldn’t miss the chance to present his rides, the stallions Catch by Colman and Zuccero by Zirocco Blue, himself before they are introduced to first more ambitious challenges at international level in the upcoming season. Dressage enthusiasts can look forward to Fidano by Fidertanz and Goldball by Goldberg, both of them under the saddle of Kimberly Kühl who is also to comment on these two emerging stars.
Proven sires like Casall by Caretino, Clarimo by Clearway, Crunch by Clarimo or else Dinken by Diarado will be on parade in-hand. Footage of their offspring’s performance in competition played by streaming provider, ClipMyHorse.tv, offers further interesting insights. The performances are commented on by Henner Hoeschen and Tjark Nagel; the latter had already been assigned this task for the last years resulting in an intimate knowledge of the stallions’ development.
