The 2025 Holsteiner State Champion! This stallion lives up to his name, browsing the pedigree of United Pleasure is a pleasure, indeed! The combination of modern Holsteiner genes through his sire United Way with the blood of legendary For Pleasure is unique. United Pleasure himself is a still youthful stallion with a good rectangular frame, correct foundation and great athleticism.
United Pleasure has been awarded the sought-after premium title at the Holsteiner stallion grading in December 2023 and was described by breeding director Stephan Haarhoff as follows: “A stallion with very modern make and shape, frame, a good top-line and correct foundation. At the jump he demonstrates awesome reflexes – a worthy premium stallion, indeed.”
The stallion is co-owned by the stallion keeping GmbH and Brazilian Jose Ribeiro de Mendonca.
Also under the saddle United Pleasure shows the qualities promised by his pedigree. This stallion offers an interesting option for breeding, in particular for mares carrying Caretino blood. He is expected to reliably pass on height and frame.

Sire
United Way is among the Elmshorn stallion stable’s most high-profile studs, as he has been building a reputation as a top sire for quite a few years now. His offspring impress with excellent rectangular frame, they are athletic, ambitious, and typey, with outstanding jumping ability and canter and his absolutely reliable high-quality sport horse dam line.
Damline
His dam, Justine, has been awarded a district premium and has as yet produced four foals. United Pleasure’s second dam Cantate I’s offspring by Million Dollar, Miro en Gris, attracts attention with Dominik Juffinger (AUT), as he boasts placings at FEI advanced level.
The produce of the third dam, Kantate II, includes Cosido (Ellen Kölz/GER), a licensed Holsteiner stallion with results up to 1.45m level, as well as Carosso, successfully shown in jumping classes up to 1.55m level by Dirk Ahlmann (GER).
The Holsteiner mare family 2067 has been reliable in producing sport performance for generations now. Sport horses like for example Coolio (Marcus Ehning/GER), Cazaro (Carsten-Otto Nagel/GER), Cattani (Geir Gulliksen/NOR) and Leonardo (Franke Sloothaak/GER) make this mare family one of the most successful in the Holsteiner studbook. The licensed stallions Conrad de Hus, Landstreicher, Canturano I and II, Connect and Cosido have also come from mare family 2067.
Own Performance of United Pleasure
The grey completed short ability assessment in Vechta with a jumping weighted final score of 8.3 under the saddle of Lucas Wenz. “A jumper“, was the summary given by the panel of judges recording 9.0 for United Pleasure’s willingness to perform and 8.8 for his jumping ability. The grey’s scopey free jumping attracted particular attention. “A stallion with incredible ability. For all his drive and go he also displays good judgement – he is certain to benefit from this.” United Pleasure excelled right away in his first showing season with Lucas Wenz: the combination won several young horse jumping classes and were crowned State Champions in superior style at the Holsteiner Horse Days. A United Pleasure colt right from his first crop qualified for the Elmshorn state foal championship.
