Caretino counts among the Holsteiner stubbook’s top sires. Shown in competition first by Bo Kristoffersen and later Ludger Beerbaum, he chalked up showjumping wins and placings at international S level.
Well over 60 offspring have been stallion graded in Germany, arguably the most well-known being Casall, who used to be one of best international jumpers in the word with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.
