Once again, top-quality Holsteiners will travel to Sweden: on 11 July, twelve promising Holsteiner foals are put to auction as part of the renowned Falsterbo Horse Show The hybrid auction offers breeders and competitive riders from all over the world an opportunity to secure excellent genes for the future – in person on site as well as online.
Falsterbo Horse Show is one of the most storied and important equestrian events in Scandinavia. Combining top level sport and a unique atmosphere, the five-star-level horse show is known to attract thousands of visitors year after year. The Holsteiner foal auction has been a fixture on the schedule for a long time now. Among the sires of these promising young horses is Zuccero HV, who has two foals represented in the lot. The stallion recently made headlines with his victory at the Global Champions League in Monte Carlo under Maximilian Weishaupt. Also represented are Diarado, Dominator Z, Diablue, Conchezz, Kantato, Keaton I, United Way, and Chavaros II.
Lot 4, United Princess M&O by Cahil-Diamant de Semilly, deserves closer attention: This modern filly is out of a very interesting dam, a full sister to grand prix stallion Mumbai (Christian Kukuk/GER). The bloodline of lot 1, Karlstad by Kantato-Baracuda, is as exciting: his second dam in particular is worth a look, seeing that Camita II by Ramiro has produced numerous successful jumping horses, including AB 19 Chepetto (Christian Hess/GER) and Verelst Naomi (Nick Skelton/GBR).
The foals are presented live in the main show jumping arena on Saturday, 11 July around 2:00pm. The auction will begin around 5:00pm, following the traditional Falsterbo Derby. Anyone unable to attend in person can watch the event live and join the online bidding. At the same time, Falsterbo Horse Show offers the perfect opportunity to visit the popular Swedish coastal resort.
