Because then the online auction portal holsteiner.auction is activated. Prior to the final bidding phase, the so-called bid up starting at 3.00pm on Sunday (12 December) the horses are presented live once again in the heated Fritz-Thiedemann-indoor arena on the Sunday at about 10.00am. “Visitors are very welcome to Elmshorn on 12 December, provided they are vaccinated or recovered”, says Roland Metz. The event is livestreamed by ClipMyHorse.tv, access to the Verband facility only possible in compliance with 2g rules. The horses selected for the collection also include a Brantzau-Casco daughter who has won several jumping classes to 1.10m and placed to 1.20m level: lot no 3, five-year-old I Lona. This grey mare’s dam has also produced Callias (by Companiero), a jumper who has emerged as a serial winner on the international stage this year. Also Cascos by Colman, a Belgian-approved stallion successfully shown to 1.45m level is out of the same dam as I Lona. A future in sport is to be expected in view of the performance of lot no 25’s relatives: The dam of Blads by Casall-Alcatraz not only boasts own wins in ridden classes but also several show jumping offspring to 1.45m level. The three-year-old medium framed stallion is a true uncut diamond waiting to be produced.
