It was one of last year’s most noticed foal auctions and after this brilliant premiere, the second instalment of “Tomorrow’s Champions by Holsteiner” – powered by Derby Pferdefutter – takes place on 5 September 2025 during the Al Shira’aa National Championships.
27 fascinating foals and a valuable straw of frozen semen will be put up for auction sale at the Warendorf Riding Club facility in immediate vicinity to the DOKR grounds. Supreme “super sires“ such as Casall and Chacco Blue send as much as two offspring each, as does newly crowned European champion, Ermitage Kalone. Sires such as Emerald, Clarimo, Million Dollar, or Conthargos are represented by offspring, as well. With the influence of the U line steady on the rise – not only in Holstein, but also far beyond, it is not surprising that Untouchable, his son Uriko, and the latter’s son, United Way, who is sending three foals, are represented in this collection. One of them is for example a full sister to Olympic stallion, Uricas v/d Kattevennen. Or a daughter of Chacco Blue out of a Casall dam, who is a full sister to Richard Vogel’s 1.60m level jumper, Cloudio. Stallion producers should have a closer look at the young Vigado-United Way colt, as the produce of his dam from legendary mare family 104A includes horses such as Contendro I or Chaka Chaka (Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann). None other than Ludger Beerbaum’s Classic Touch is second dam to the filly by Untouchable-Dominard, which makes her a close relative to Richard Vogel’s reigning individual European Champion, United Touch S, who has seen a meteoric rise. A colt by United Way-Casello boasts sport horse genes of the very first order, as well: his second dam is Diamanthina v/h Ruytershof, a sister to Emerald and Nixon (Harrie Smolders), whose mare family has produced numerous other sport horses, including Messi van’t Ruytershof (Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann) or Le Blue Diamond van’t Ruytershof.
