Eight high quality riding horses have found their way into the exquisite selection to be auctioned during the Holsteiner stallion grading held from 14- 16 December at Elmshorn. On Saturday, 16 December 2023, bidding duels for Holstein’s sporting talents are on the cards again in the hybrid auction sale.
Just before Christmas, you can treat yourself or others with a quality “gift” from Holstein. Many of the horses on sale boast age-appropriate show jumping results already and come from families prioritizing sport horse achievements. Like for example lot 101, Corazon Deluxe by Casall-Contender: the four-year-old stallion has not only won and placed in young horse classes at 1.10m level several times, but is also a half-brother to successful 1.50m level jumper, Ce Ce Senior by Captain Fire (Angel Guillermo Karolyi/VEN).
Crazy Boy Greenhills (lot 102) by Cascadello I out of a Clinton I dam is another auction horse already with achievements in competition. The four-year-old grey presents himself as a modern athlete with an excellent attitude, as confirmed by placings in young horse jumping classes during the past season. He is for example closely related to 1.60m show jumper, Carrygo by Carry (Ahmed El Naggar/EGY). Lot 103, six-year-old Kastilia BF by Cayado-Calandro, secured the much coveted qualification for the Warendorf National Championships in 2023 and has won young horse jumping classes at M level. Lot 104 is also very interesting as a future sport and breeding horse: the mare called AGS Clarissa by Clarimo-Casall is a representative of mare family 104A and her dam line has produced several greats of the sporting scene, including Corradina by Corrado I (Carsten-Otto Nagel/GER), same as Heroika HaS by Baloubet du Rouet (Tjade Carstensen/GER) and Clapton VDL by Caretino (Cindy van der Straten/BEL).

The horses offered for sale will move into their Elmshorn box stalls on Monday, 4 December 2023, and can be tried out from 5-12 December by prior arrangement.
