As part of this year’s licensing of the young Holsteiner stallions at Elmshorn, which is about to start in just a few days, a riding horse auction sale offering a small, exquisite collection is held on 14 December. Marketing manager Felix Flinzer and his team have hand-picked eight promising young talents for this Christmas Edition.
Lot 103 for example, Nika by Cornet’s Quaprice-Canto, a medium-framed mare with a lot of push and a smart canter, is ready to go and jump courses in the upcoming year. Lot 106, Malva by Del Arko d’Henvet-Cash and Carry from legendary mare family 162 is one year older and has already placed in jumping horse classes at A. The appealing mare has a licensed half-brother, Celle state stallion Cornet’s Caruso by Cornet Obolensky. Moreover, the produce of her fourth dam, Perra, also includes the world-famous stallion Carthago (Jos Lansink/BEL). Another lot with showing experience is no 108, New Mexiko by I’m Special de Muze-Cassini II. The four-year-old mare has already chalked up placings up to 1.00m level.
