The coming week promises another highlight on the breed and sport calendar: the 2021 Holsteiner Horse Days held on 10 - 13 June. Scheduled between the state championships, the elite mare show and interesting sport horse classes, 28 promising young Holsteiners will be put to sale in a hybrid auction held on 12 June in the afternoon.
As of now, informative video material as well as thorough information on the entire collection is available on holsteiner.auction. Moreover, for each auction candidate a detailed list of the breed and sport results achieved by the foals’ relatives down to the fourth generation in the female line is provided. Proven sires like Casall, Colman, Conthargos and Diarado are represented by offspring, as are a great number of promising young stallions. The Cornet Obolensky sons Crack, Cahil and Cornet's Quaprice have several foals each, and the friends of the Holsteiner dressage horse are being catered to by as much as four lots discovered by Roland Metz, foals by Franziskus, Fidano and Confess Color. “We have seen again and again that valuable and interesting bloodlines –on the sire’s as well as on the dam’s side of the pedigree – are particularly sought-after by our clients. Knowing this we have made great efforts again in choosing the foals for the collection accordingly“, Roland Metz says about the selected foals.
The first public presentation of the foals on offer will take place at the Elmshorn Herbert-Blöcker-outdoor arena on the morning of 12 June, with the auction sale to begin in the afternoon.
