Today marks the start of the Holsteiner Foal Month 2026. Around 30 foals born in 2026 will be showcased on the Holsteiner Verband’s online portal until 30 September and offered for sale directly by their breeders.
Prospective buyers will find detailed information on the individual foals, including professional photographs and videos, as well as details of their pedigree and the performance records of their relatives. The selection ranges from offspring of proven sires such as Calido I, Diarado, Don VHP, Million Dollar, Mylord Carthago, United Way and Uriko to foals by younger stallions such as Cognac, Conchezz, Kantato, Arezzo Man and Duplexx.
It should be noted that the Holsteiner Foal Month is expressly not an auction. Prospective buyers make direct contact with the respective exhibitors. All discussions, price negotiations and purchase transactions take place between the breeder and the buyer. In the event of a successful sale, no additional sales commission is payable by the parties.
Through Foal Month, Holsteiner Verband Vermarktungs- und Auktions GmbH provides targeted support to breeders in the direct marketing of their offspring. The foals are professionally showcased and gain additional exposure via the Holsteiner Verband’s online presence – a combination that benefits breeders and prospective buyers alike.

Holsteiner Foal Month 2026 will run from 7 to 30 September.
