(Elmshorn) The Holsteiner Horse Days held from 10 - 14 June showcase the best young Verband talents – with another highlight scheduled right in the middle, on Saturday 13 June: a foal auction. In the Herbert-Blöcker outdoor arena a selection of youngsters will be put to auction in front of an expert crowd of breeders and equestrians.
The collection combines modern performance genes and proven Holsteiner mare families and caters for riders, owners and investors aiming for international sport. Set against the unique atmosphere of the Holsteiner horse days, the auction offers perfect conditions to see and discover these young talents in real live on-site.
Felix Flinzer and his team have selected eleven foals born in 2026, with their sires a mixture of proven names such as Casall and his son, Cascadello I, Dinken and Million Dollar as well as the rising stars Keaton I, Charaktervoll and United Way, who are causing a splash at show grounds all over the place.
Lot 3, Private Jet S by Pegase van’t Ruytershof-Clarimo from mare family 2269, carries Olympic genes. Gelsa (by TB sire Grundyman) is this colt’s third dam and her produce Carlsson vom Dach (Will Simpson/USA) was instrumental in securing team Gold for the American squad at the Hong Kong Olympics.
Lot 9, Mr. Million by Million Dollar-Cachas also boasts a damline steeped in success, as the produce of his third dam, Artane by Romino, includes Colore (Hans-Dieter Dreher/GER) and Carsten (Jamie Gornall/GBR). These sought-after genetics are rooted in Holsteiner mare family 741.
