Holsteiner Foal Auction @ Falsterbo Horse Auction: Results

Ten foals had been put to auction at a premium sale on the occasion of the centenary of the Falsterbo Horse Show in Sweden. Realizing 21,000 euros, an Emerald van’t Ruytershof-Baloubet du Rouet offspring became the highest-priced lot. Another lot by Dominator Z-Cornet Obolensky sold at 20,000 euros.

The two foals from mare families boasting international results have been secured by young Austrian, Susanne Winter. Knocked-down at 17,000 euros, a foal by young sire Cahil out of an Uriko dam realized a very good price, as well. Casall’s dam Kira XVII is the second dam of this filly called Pretty Woman who is going to be based in Sweden. Each of the foals stood out for exceptional quality and sought-after Holsteiner genetics and found an appropriate showcase against the background of the international horse show. “I’m very happy with this successful Falsterbo premiere in the frame of this awesome horse show with its great atmosphere and enthusiasm – definitely just the right place for auctioning high-quality Holsteiners“, said head of auction, Roland Metz. On average, the buyers invested 13,850 euros per foal.
