Spring Auction Sale: First Presentation on 5 March at 6.00pm Live on Site and on...

The Holsteiner Verband auction year is just about to kick off. Having moved into their Elmshorn box stalls last week, the four-year-old and older auction horses are already undergoing training. On Saturday, 5 March at 6.00pm these young talents will be publicly presented for the first time.

Like for example lot No 10, five-year-old mare Kira by Quasimodo van de Moldendreef out of a very special dam, Cascadello I daughter Festel I, crowned Holsteiner champion mare in 2016. Moreover, the direct dam line has also produced the Olympic horse Vitali, who performed in eventing with Tim Price at Tokyo in 2021. Lot No 6 also boasts a successful dam: the four-year-old Diamant de Semilly daughter Californication VLN is out of Colina, a Clearway daughter successfully shown through 1.50m by Natalia Czernik. “I am very happy we have again succeeded in putting together a collection characterized by great athleticism. International blood on top of proven and well-bred Holsteiner dam lines, complemented by interesting young stallions and outcross alternatives“, head of marketing Roland Metz is pleased to say. All important information on the horses, videos and health certificates are available online on www.holsteiner.auction. Anybody interested in getting a personal impression of the collection is very welcome to join the Elmshorn presentations, on 5 March (6.00pm) as well as on 19 March (10.00am). For trying out the horses, please do contact us to arrange an appointment beforehand. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the auction sale on 19 March is held online only also this year.
