Everything is ready and prepared at the Elmshorn Verband facility for the Holsteiner stallion days and the spring auction sale to be held this weekend. The marketing and auction GmbH team around executive director Felix Flinzer offers 34 highly talented horses in the auction sale held on Saturday evening.
But before that the lots are once again given the opportunity to win over potential new owners when shown in the final presentation on Friday (22 March) at 4.00pm. The ridden horses have already been trained at Elmshorn for some weeks now, whereas the uncut diamonds have arrived on Wednesday. All horses can be met, viewed, and, age permitting, tried out under saddle. On Saturday (23 March) the spring auction sale kicks off at 6:30pm, just after the stallion presentation, in the Fritz-Thiedemann-indoor arena. Very interesting for example is lot 5, Carbolin by Clarimo-Quinar, who is expected to make his highly successful sport horse family proud in the future: These include the 1.60 meter heroes Lasino by Landgraf I (Jörg Kreutzmann/GER), Charmie by Connor (Antonio Alfonso/ITA) and Loreana by Lord (Achaz by Buchwaldt/GER). Or lot 9, Cabalero by Crack-Dinken: his second dam, Lamina by Sir Shostakovich TB, not only used to be a 3-star-eventing-horse herself (Inken Gräfin von Platen-Hallermund/GER), but also produced the double National Champion, Cascoblanco by Cascadello I (Pia Leuwer/GER). The licensed stallion Cambridge by Caletto I, the successful 1.60m level jumpers Cecilia by Coronado (Matthew Sampson/GBR) and Copias by Calido I (Justin Resnik/USA) as well as the top successful 3-star-eventing horse Incaletta CH by Indigo (Nicolai Aldinger/GER) and many more – they have all come from the damline of lot 113, Miss Finnland. Lot 114, I’m Special by I’m Special de Muze-Corrado II started into the 2024 season by securing international 1.25m placings in the youngster tour under the saddle of a young female rider.
