As a CSI5* Nations Cup tournament, the Falsterbo Horse Show is one of the world's most renowned events and is also the largest outdoor sporting event in Sweden. In Falsterbo, equestrian sport is offered at the highest level - a Holsteiner foal auction in this context on July 15 fits into the concept perfectly.
The foals are by stallions such as Casall, Vingino and Big Star, as well as Keaton, Charaktervoll and Chaccothage Blue. And the mothers of the foals can partly come up with considerable own performances: The catalogue number 1, Special Edition by Singular LS La Silla-Lancer II, is out of Zauberin II, who competed on 1.55 meter level with Sebastian Numminen (FIN). Quint is the name of catalogue number 4 by Quabri de L'Isle-Cornet Obolensky - the granddam of this colt, Goriana van Klapscheut, jumped to numerous 1.60 meter successes with Pilar Lucrecia Cordon (ESP) in the saddle. The dam of catalogue number 8, a colt named Action Chin by Asterix de Couleur-Chin Chin, was also successful in advanced level show jumping with Jan Meves (GER). Chessman, catalogue number 9, has a young sire in Charaktervoll, who is collecting sporting merits with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. Chessman's dam by Cassini I was also used in advanced level show jumping (Kilian Meinert/GER). "After the successful premiere in 2022, we are very pleased that we were again able to place a Holsteiner foal auction in the program of the Falsterbo Horse Show," said auction manager Felix Flinzer. "This is an excellent opportunity for our breeders and the entire Holsteiner breed to present themselves at the traditional Swedish show."
A presentation of the foals will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in the afternoon at approximately 3 p.m. in the main stadium. The hybrid auction will also be hosted at the stadium following the Falsterbo Derby at circa 17:00. ClipMyHorse.tv will broadcast this in livestream. All candidates are to be seen with photos, videos under www.holsteiner.auction. All questions about the auction and of course about the foals themselves will be answered by Felix Flinzer (phone: 0162-3493942) at any time.
