Discover Success Genes at Tomorrow’s Champions by Holsteiner

The Holsteiner Verband will auction a choice selection of foals at the very place where Germany’s best young horses compete for the champion titles: during the Warendorf National Championships, 25 highly promising young prospects are offered up for auction sale at “Tomorrow’s Champions by Holsteiner” on 6 September.

And this collection will certainly be seen again competing at National Championships and international show grounds in the future: Lot 1 for example, Stine by Chacfly PS-Barcley, comes from the direct damline of Cassini I. Lot 4 goes by the name My Moonlight and is by Mylord Carthago-Chacco Blue. And his dam is a half-sister to Tobago by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, whose results include a second place at Aachen with Daniel Deusser (GER). Aachen, Spruce Meadows and many other big-name venues all across the world have seen Philipp Weishaupt (GER) perform to great success aboard L.B. Convall by Colman, whose family has also produced lot 24, Escamina by Eldorado van de Zeshoek-Colman. Lot 5, Cierano by Cieran-Cormint, impresses with outstanding performance on the dam’s side: His second dam is multiple world cup winner, Deichgräfin by Constant (Carsten-Otto Nagel/GER). Lots 17 and 22 for example come from highly decorated eventing families: the dam of Cross Country TH by Casall-Quinar is Waikiki, who collected sporting merits for Sweden with Louise Romeike, for example at the world championships. Her Badminton horse, Wieloch’s Utah Sun by Limbus comes from this family branch, as well. Among the selection’s quality lots is Captain Jack H by Connor-Contender, a direct relation to Nickel by Numero Uno. Under the saddle of Julia Krajewski, the gelding not only won the hearts of eventing fans at the Paris Olympics, but finished eleventh individually on his debut. Established damlines with international genetics – the de Muze and van’t Roosakker families – are also represented by several lots and complete “Tomorrow’s Champions by Holsteiner”: lot 3, for example, Movento AMK by Eldorado van de Zeshoek-Emerald van het Ruytershof, carries Harrie Smolders’ successful 1.60m level jumper, Walnut de Muze, as second dam, who, in her turn, is a full sister to the third dam of high-flying stallion, Million Dollar and countless other top sport horses.
