The 55th Holsteiner stallion grading is rapidly approaching. On 11 and 12 December, everything at the Holsteiner Verband facility will revolve around the young males born in 2023 and the elite auction riding horses.
53 stallion prospects have been accepted by the grading committee around breeding director Stephan Haarhoff. Their first appearance will be the presentation on hard surface on Thursday, 11 December from 10am. This is followed by the first free jumping presentation, with the second free jumping scheduled for Friday morning from 8.30. Anticipation rises from 4.00pm, with the group presentation at a walk, the grading decisions, and the licensing’s emotional highlight, the announcement of the 2025 champion stallion.
The evening comes to a close with the auction of the licensed stallions and non-licensed colts- for the first time in a new setting in the historical riding arena. Clients, exhibitors and visitors may look forward to a very special atmosphere. The stallion candidates including information on their availability for sale are now online.
Elite Riding Horses Online as Well
In addition to the stallions, the elite riding horse auction has also found a place in the event programme again. The auction team led by executive director Felix Flinzer has selected 25 horses of outstanding quality for this auction which is held on Thursday, 11 December. Their first public presentation will take place on Monday, 24 November, at 6.00pm in the Fritz-Thiedemann-indoor arena and is also streamed on ClipMyHorse.tv.
