The Holsteiner horse days held on 11-15 June will see the best compete against each other: The winners of the state championships are chosen among the most talented young dressage and jumping horses, the Verband mare show crowns the queens of the age group, the young stallions have to deliver in the stallion performance evaluation tests and also the Holsteiner foal auction held on Saturday, 14 June, offers choice quality, with 14 promising young prospects put to auction in the Herbert-Blöcker-outdoor arena at Elmshorn.

The collection combines mare families with proven breed and sport performance and internationally sought-after paternal genes. Lot 1, Zandro by Zuccero-Cornet Obolensky, is a produce of the renowned van Klapscheut family and his half-brother not only saw a lot of interest but also realized the highest price at the recent Hamburg foal auction. Closely related to Niklaus Schurtenberger‘s N-Caretana BB by Caretino and Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann’s Chaka Chaka by Casall as well as to the licensed stallions Contendro I and II by Contender and Cassito by Cassiano is lot 2. And this stallion prospect is definitely thrilling not only for his successful relatives, but also for his gorgeous markings: Kunterbunt by Keaton I-Cassiano is certain to conquer many hearts by storm. Lot 3 is a colt by United Way and Dominator Z. In the tail female line, United Million HaS carries none other than the full sister to fantastic Million Dollar as his second dam.
