Deichkind is a sport horse with a future ahead. Not only his very good conformation and jumping talent attest to his bright prospects as a show jumper, but also his wonderful personality. On the dam’s side, Landgraf I, Alme, and Ramzes, all of them known to have put their stamp on their offspring, account for this typey young stallion, same as the amazing sires Diamant de Semilly, Voltaire, and Ramiro on the sire’s side. He carries only a few drops of Cor de la Bryère blood, which deserves particular mention and attention. Deichkind always demonstrates good judgement and intelligence. Under the saddle, he shows excellent balance and rideability. He impresses with correct structure, extremely harmonious lines and very good legs along with a friendly disposition.
Deichkind is characterized by striking balance, very good rideability and an excellent temperament. In keeping with his athleticism, he has been successfully shown in young horse classes at A level over the last season. His first crop of foals seems to confirm that he passes on these qualities to his offspring with great reliability.

Sire
His sire Don VHP Z by famous Diamant de Semilly is an international elite level sporting legend. Under the saddle of Harrie Smolders he jumped 100 odd clear rounds at 1.60m level. In 2017 he carried his rider to claim silver at the Rotterdam Europeans and they won the Nations Cup final in Barcelona.
Damline
Deichkind comes from an internationally very successful damline which has been bred by the Lüneburg family for generations. His second dam, Jakina, used to be a jumping horse to international 1.45m level herself and has produced several show jumping offspring with S level results. The produce of his third dam, Unke V, also includes numerous international sport horses, like for example Leica (Rasmus Lüneburg), Ragazzo (Andreas Ripke), and Alcassina (Jule Lind née Lüneburg).
