The ban on assembly due to Corona did not allow the already traditional presentation of the young stallions in the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle this year with the participation of the breeders and interested spectators.
In order to be able to provide good information even in this exceptional situation, the presentation was recorded in cooperation with our media partner Clipmyhorse and carried into the living rooms of interested spectators.
Norbert Boley and Henner Höschen welcomed the audience in front of the screen and gave them important impressions and information about the young stallions. With full of character, Dubliner and Cahil, the three-year-old stallions presented themselves to them in the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle under the riders of the Hengsthaltungs GmbH in an age-appropriate manner. The four to six-year-old stallions showed themselves in a short course to demonstrate their jumping quality and riding qualities. In order to be able to show the first foals of the young stallions, a small team of the stallion management in the country set out to produce videos of their foals on site at the breeders and also to present them in the online presentation. "It was important to us not to withhold the first foals of the young stallions from the breeders, so that they could gain a first impression of the heredity of the individual stallions," Norbert Boley noted. At the end of the presentation the dressage sires - the three-year-old Fidano and the five-year-old Goldball - were presented by Kimberly Hinrichs. Fidano presented himself generously moving with a lot of verve and expression. Goldball showed himself clearly matured in the lessons corresponding to his age.
As is tradition, a raffle took place during the stallion show. An online raffle was created for this purpose. The stallion management team was very pleased about the many participants and the extensive positive feedback. The winners have already been announced.
"It was unusual for us to hold a stallion presentation in an empty Fritz-Thiedemann hall, but we are pleased that we have found a way to bring our stallions closer to interested breeders once again. I think the breeders were able to get a lot of impressions of the young stallions to make their mating decisions," Norbert Boley summarized.
Special thanks go to the entire team of the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH, without whose commitment such a successful presentation would not have been possible.
