Last year, Costbar had had to make do with the bronze medal. Today, the Clarimo offspring clinched the gold medal in the 6-year-old event horse division at the National Championships in Warendorf, winning by a clear margin.

On first position following the dressage (8.5) and showjumping (8.8), the six-year-old Holsteiner Costbar by Clarimo-Contender had had the best conditions going into the final cross-country where the bay gelding bred by Hanno Köhncke (Badendorf) once again demonstrated his potential. “Costbar’s performance stood out for exemplary jumping and super rideability. Just the sort of horse you want for modern, high-level sport”, according to the judges’ verdict.
