On the occasion of Casall’s retirement, the Holsteiner Verband stallion keeping GmbH had come up with a very special gift for his long-time rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson: a filly foal by his equine sport partner Casall.
Casall and Bengtsson had jumped their last course together during the Hamburg Derby where the Holsteiner Verband stallion keeping GmbH’s flagship completed his exceptional career by winning the Hamburg leg of the Global Champions Tour. The persons in charge, first and foremost executive manager Norbert Boley, wanted to thank Rolf-Göran Bengtsson for this long-term and very successful and productive cooperation. And what would have been more suitable than a real investment in the future in the form of a Casall foal? That is why Rolf became the new owner of a modern filly foal by Casall out of a Cristo-Lovari dam at Casall’s farewell celebration. The filly was bred by Detlef Bendixen (Brebel/Süderbraup) and her second dam is no other than Soeoete Deern, whose produce also includes Neurit (by Nekton), a stallion licensed in 2007, and Diadoro by Diarado (autumn auction 2017).
This week, the time had finally come for the little filly to be moved to Rolf-Göran Bengtsson yard.
