Time and again the Holsteiner studbook has succeeded in producing stallions with exceptional movement. Stallions like Lorentin I, Silvano, De Chirico or Catoo have already given definite proof to this in competition, as well.
Fidano also belongs to this circle of stallions with high quality movement and impressive rideabilty. The black has been on the radar already as a foal. A conspicuous dark coat, tremendous movement and an impressive overall appearance made him a much-noticed championship foal.
Fidano retained these good qualities and this is how the black stallion performed in front of the grading commission throughout the event:
always convincing, both in-hand and at liberty, and particularly when lunged. The first experiences under saddle have been very promising as well.
This dressage specialist is perfectly suited to pass on type and movement to his offspring as these qualities are reliably secured on both sides of his pedigree. In view of his own conformation he should be able to improve mares with less well-constructed top-lines.
